| Resumo | Two research projects were carried out to test the capability of using LANDSAT data for pastureland and reforestation studies. The results obtained are 1)the degradation of pastureland after deforestation can be identified automatically using four indicators: the percentages of exposed soil, lateritic soil, types of "juquira" and Gramineae species; 2)pine and eucalypt plantations can be identified manually and automatically. The classification accuracy of Image-100 is 94.31 for pine and range from 67.23 to 92.30 for eucalypt. |
